Custom from fabric I purchase: Depending on the material you chose, your sling will be about $25, including shipping and handling. If you would like a matching (or contrasting) set, approximately $40 for the pair. More expensive material will necessarily result in a more expensive sling; I can get calicos for $3/yard, but all-cotton knits are about double that, and silks and other luxury fabrics can be $10+ per yard. I charge actual costs for materials I purchase, plus $12 for sewing and $4 for shipping.
Custom from fabric sent by client: I will also happily sew slings from fabric that you send to me. For these I would charge $12 for a simple sling of an appropriate fabric (i.e. fairly sturdy), or $15 to quilt together two layers of a lighter fabric, such as calico. Slippery fabrics like silk or rayon take me longer to sew, so please add $6 for such materials. As with twill slings, add $8 for a zippered pocket. Final price will include $4 for shipping (USPS Priority Mail).
